If you think a new hardware driver or application is the cause behind an error, then to perform a registry fix, first uninstall the driver or application, reboot your PC, and then reinstall the software. Try to follow correct procedure to uninstall the application—from the Control Panel choose the Add Remove Programs option—otherwise, you may end up leaving more orphan and corrupt entries in the registry. If your PC refuses to boot normally, then restart it in Safe Mode by hitting the F8 key at boot-up.

What causes windows registry errors?

July 11th, 2008 by liqian
  • Additions and removal of software can cause corrupt files

  • Start up programs become disconnected from their proper path

  • Software can be improperly or only partially installed or removed

  • A loop is created by the errors and results in an unresponsive system

  • Inconsistent communications from the system to browsers causes slow surfing

Even though there is emotional stress of having computer challenges, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Within 10 minutes you can have the entire problem fixed. The first step is to choose a Windows registry cleaner to run a free scan with. If errors are detected during the free scan, only then would you pay to have the errors fixed. Perfectoptimizer registry cleaner is a utility that securely deletes your files so they can’t be restored using recovery software. When you delete a file using the conventional Windows delete method, the file is not actually destroyed. Windows simply acknowledges the file is no longer needed and considers it free space. The deleted file will exist in a recoverable state until it’s over-written with other data. When you use Perfectoptimizer registry cleaner to shred a file, the file is over-written with with random bytes before it’s deleted. If the file was ever restored using recovery software, it would be worthless. Perfectoptimizer registry cleaner provides a new fully customizable System Shredder. Using the System Shredder, you can easily group browser cache, cookie, and history files to be located and shredded.
